Orchard barn was converted in late 2009. The accommodation was formerly used as a farm labourer’s cottage. The barn consists of four bedrooms sleeping a total of 8 people. There is also an additional sofa bed in the sitting room for 1-2 more overnight guest(s). The cottage has been sympathetically converted using local materials. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower and one bathroom with shower. The newly converted barn has been converted to all the latest building regulation standards, offering: Under floor heating using a ground source heat pump. There is a contemporary kitchen and dining room. The living area is stylishly furnished and features a wood burning stove, television, DVD player and Internet connection. Opposite the barn is a pretty apple orchard garden which can be used at your leisure and includes BBQ facilities and garden furniture with stunning views across the valley and up to Dumpdon Hill fort. Families, cyclists and walkers are welcome, dogs are welcome too.

We can offer boxes of assorted vegetables which are grown locally as well as local dairy products for you for which there will be a charge.
